F.A.Z. BUSINESS MEDIA (FBM) was founded in 2001 and is the cross-media specialist publishing house for finance and economics of the F.A.Z. Group. FBM addresses a total of 14 different B2B target groups in its finance and business divisions with a cross-channel offering consisting of print, digital and events.
During the several years of cooperation we have implemented the technical realization of some of these online media – from the creation of the portals with TYPO3, to the development of shop systems and extensions with shopware, to the ongoing support and maintenance of the various portals.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was the TYPO3 migration and update of online portals in excess of 30.000 pages. Through the development of automatic scripts, we have successfully migrated the extensive content in the content management system to the new websites.
We were able to meet the respective requirements of each portal by developing extensions. In addition to extensions for event searches and the administration of job offers, these included the programming of a hub for uploading videos, as well as automatic page creation per video.
