CENTRALIZED AND PROFESSIONALIZED: WE IMPLEMENTED A UNIQUE PIM SYSTEM FOR CONTI+, STRUCTURING PRODUCT DATA AND IMPROVING EFFECTIVENESS
The CONTI+ website primarily serves as a platform for detailed product information aimed at decision-makers and planners in the B2B sector. In order to continue to convince customers of the company’s professionalism and product quality, the site must be user-friendly and make product data easily accessible, while reducing data maintenance and sources of error.
Challenge
To centralize and professionalize product data maintenance, we first identified an appropriate PIM system. We proposed the open-source PIM system akeneo to ensure the highest possible flexibility for CONTI+. Taking into account individual customer requirements, we worked closely with the company to develop product data categories and made adjustments to the system. By implementing a product information management (PIM) system, we helped to improve process efficacy and uniformity and to bring about improvements in product data quality.
